Role Title: Office Administrator / Receptionist
Location: Ashby de-la-Zouch
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,000 per annum + excellent benefits
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our business services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Main Responsibilities
Administration
- Sales order input and order Acknowledgement
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on delivery
- Uniform ordering and allocation
- Photocopying and document collation
- Internal operational communications
- General office administration
Reception
- To meet & greet employees and visitors, maximising their experience as they visit and work
- Maintaining a professional, organised reception area
- Supporting meeting set up – room booking and refreshments
- Answering incoming calls in a professional and warm manner; screening and directing calls
- Circulate all incoming Mail / parcels and prepare outgoing mail
- Inform Office Manager of any stationary stock required
- Maintain kitchen supplies and ensuring that the kitchen area is presentable
- Liaising with the facilities team as required
- Events organisation and management
Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and visitors at all levels of seniority
- Excellent organisation skills, being able to manage your time efficiently and juggle numerous issues at once
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Customer service-based attitude
- Professional, but fun
- Confident and assertive where required
- Ability to work independently and be able to multitask
- Dependable
- Have pride in what you do and a desire to exceed expectations
- Punctual
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Previous experience of working with gaming machines would be an advantage – although full training can be provided.
Beneficial Experience (not essential)
- Previous experience of working on a reception and office environment
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry an advantage
