Role Title: Office Administrator / Receptionist  

Location: Ashby de-la-Zouch

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,000 per annum + excellent benefits

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our business services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

 

Main Responsibilities

Administration

  • Sales order input and order Acknowledgement
  • Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on delivery
  • Uniform ordering and allocation
  • Photocopying and document collation
  • Internal operational communications
  • General office administration

Reception

  • To meet & greet employees and visitors, maximising their experience as they visit and work
  • Maintaining a professional, organised reception area
  • Supporting meeting set up – room booking and refreshments
  • Answering incoming calls in a professional and warm manner; screening and directing calls
  • Circulate all incoming Mail / parcels and prepare outgoing mail
  • Inform Office Manager of any stationary stock required
  • Maintain kitchen supplies and ensuring that the kitchen area is presentable
  • Liaising with the facilities team as required
  • Events organisation and management

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Excellent organisation skills, being able to manage your time efficiently and juggle numerous issues at once
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Customer service-based attitude
  • Professional, but fun
  • Confident and assertive where required
  • Ability to work independently and be able to multitask
  • Dependable
  • Have pride in what you do and a desire to exceed expectations
  • Punctual
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Previous experience of working with gaming machines would be an advantage – although full training can be provided.

 

Beneficial Experience (not essential)

  • Previous experience of working on a reception and office environment
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry an advantage
