Reporting to the North American Market Product Lead, the Market Product Manager will produce and own a Market Product Roadmap and be involved in all key stages of the Inspired VLT product from proposal, inception, certification and delivery phases of the gaming system in territory. The role will require close co-ordination between UK and territory-based account, service, product teams and customers to achieve a smooth delivery of the product to market. Requirements gathering, documentation, organisation, and customer facing skills involving a practical ‘hands on’ approach to product delivery plus the ability to deliver quality results on time are all vital within this role.
Responsibilities
• Conduct market research including analysis of competitor products to feed the UK-based Product team with localized market intelligence and customer specific requirements. This should cover game content, cabinet hardware, back-office screens/features and Client specific needs.
• Become the expert in the INSPIRED product features and end to end setup and management of the product in new and existing installations. The Market Product Manager needs to develop a good practical grasp of all INSPIRED game features, product features, tools, processes and assist in recommendations in how they can be tailored to fit the local market requirements.
• Support the UK-based Product team in producing the Game and Product Roadmaps by identifying and prioritising the local market needs.
• Work closely with in-territory customers, legislators, and local service partners to assist INSPIRED in engineering the product into a working solution for that market. Provide consultancy and training to customers, legislators, and local service partners in all aspects of the product features and functionality.
• Review and perform acceptance of developed product releases and ensure that it meets the player, customer, and operational needs for the local target market.
• Assist in the in-country certification and homologation phase of the product in line with local legislation. Ensure all elements of the product release are available in a timely manner and any issues are fed back and escalated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the in-country Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) phase of the product. Ensure all elements of the product release are available in a timely manner and any issues are fed back and escalated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Working closely with the market operations, account, and sales force, cultivate a deep and lasting relationship with customers to promote the Inspired product roadmap and strategy.
• Alongside VLT account managers help to obtain buy-in from customer senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes.
• Feed all operational incidents and problems brought to their attention into the UK based support functions and assist where necessary in any resolution.
• Deliver ad-hoc training and training material to customer staff as and when required in line with new product release or new customer contracts.
• Represent the Inspired product team at client meetings and trade shows.
