Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator at Inspired Gaming UK, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of our products and equipment. You will be responsible for liaising with third-party transport providers, managing logistics schedules, and overseeing the movement of goods to various destinations. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation logistics with third-party transport providers to meet company requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage logistics schedules and ensure timely delivery of products and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate transportation needs and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Monitor transportation costs and seek opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery dates, and transportation costs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for transportation and logistics operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide logistics initiatives and projects.

Main Deliverables:

  1. Following through logistics requests from start to finish for internal and external movements (inter-depot/Sales):
    • Ensure seamless coordination of transportation logistics for all internal and external movements.
    • Track and monitor the progress of logistics requests from initiation to completion.
    • Address any issues or delays promptly to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  2. Provide full audit trail for each Purchase Order (PO):
    • Chase suppliers for Proof of Delivery (POD) and internal locations for necessary paperwork.
    • Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for each purchase order, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness.
  3. Assist Asset Coordinators with stock check requirements of third-party locations:
    • Collaborate with Asset Coordinators to conduct stock checks at third-party locations.
    • Ensure accurate inventory records and facilitate reconciliation processes as needed.
  4. Assist department with project requirements, including planning onward locations of removed equipment:
    • Support the department with project logistics, including planning the onward locations of removed equipment.
    • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to facilitate project objectives and timelines.

Work Experience – Previous experience required to do the job

  • Essential – Proven experience in a recent administrative capacity is mandatory.

Education/Qualifications – e.g. academic or professional qualifications

  • Essential – Educated to G.C.S.E standard or equivalent
  • Desirable – Further educational qualifications would be beneficial. Courses related to above vocations would be advantageous
