Are you passionate about building visually stunning, interactive experiences? We’re looking for a talented JavaScript Developer to join our Interactive Game Development team, where you’ll help create engaging mobile and web games played by customers around the world.
What you will do:
As a JavaScript Developer, you’ll work closely with designers, artists, and fellow developers to bring games to life using JavaScript and Pixi.js. You’ll be responsible for producing high‑quality, maintainable code and supporting game development from concept to release.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining mobile and web‑based games using JavaScript and Pixi.js
- Collaborating with the art, design, project management, and testing teams to deliver high‑quality game products
- Writing clean, efficient, well‑documented code
- Implementing solutions aligned with architectural designs and agreed timeframes
- Conducting code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement within the development team
- Debugging and resolving technical issues
- Creating and executing unit tests
- Logging time against projects and contributing to development documentation
What we are looking for:
We’d love to hear from you if you have a strong JavaScript background and a passion for creating visually engaging interactive experiences. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast‑paced development environment and collaborating across disciplines.
You should have:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar JavaScript development role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload
- HTML5, JavaScript (including ES6+ features), and JSON skills
- Experience with game engines such as Pixi.js or Phaser
- js experience
- Source control experience (Git preferred)
- Knowledge of unit testing in JavaScript
Beneficial experience:
- Experience in the iGaming industry
- Knowledge of additional development languages
- Automated testing experience
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Relevant technical qualifications
