Position: Terminal Refurbishment Technician
Full time-37.5 hours, permanent position, Ashby-de-la-Zouch (Mon to Fri, Dayshifts)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Terminal Refurbishment Technician responsible for ensuring timely repairs, efficient coordination with the electronics department, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their duties, adhering to company policies and delivering high-quality work within set deadlines.
The responsibilities will include:
- Terminal Repairs: Repair all damaged terminals within a certain timescale.
- Parts Coordination: Liaise with the Electronic Repair Department to ensure best practices are followed when ordering parts.
- Equipment Disposal: Manage the disposal of cabinets and peripherals in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Logistical Support: Assist in loading and unloading terminals as needed to support operational efficiency.
- Housekeeping: Promote and maintain cleanliness and organization within all production areas.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including security and health and safety regulations. Report any breaches immediately to your line manager.
- Target Achievement: Consistently strive to meet and exceed established performance objectives and targets.
- Flexibility: Undertake any reasonable tasks assigned by management, even if outside the usual scope of your role.
We support training and learning, but it would be great if you had the following attributes:
- Proven experience in electronic repairs.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
