Salary £35,000 – £38,000 depending on experience

This is a nationwide role which will be based primarily around the out skirts of London (M25), the role will require travel to our other venues across the country from time to time.

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall day to day management of 9 motorway service venues. This involves the responsibility of managing staff, security, machine servicing and cash supervision. As well as ensuring all venues are compliant and legal. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, self-motivated and a confident management style.

Main responsibilities include:

  • To action, supervise and resolve routine malfunctions where cause and correction are readily identified. Ensuring all servicing requirements are carried out efficiently and carefully.
  • To ensure the upkeep, maintenance and servicing of all company assets in or under the company’s control within the motorway service area or subsidiary’s.
  • To ensure that all venue cash collections are managed accurately and in accordance with Company procedures.
  • All banking and company monies are on site and accounted for.
  • Responsible for security and compliance of venues, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • To deal with all customer disputes, claims and complaints in an ethical, polite and courteous manner. Making sure all are investigated and resolved as per company guidelines.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures.
  • Control that all paperwork is up to date.


  • Experience in a similar role
  • Industry experience, people supervision and management
