Scope and purpose of role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Events Assistant to join Inspired’s Marketing Team based in Central London. Applicants should have a passion for creative marketing and copy writing, be good at multi-tasking, and have exceptional organisational and event planning skills with a strong eye for detail. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to work for a forward-thinking technology company in a growing industry, with opportunities for career development and progression. The successful applicant will spend approximately 50% of their time working closely with the marketing team and various functions within the company to help promote content via a number of channels. The remaining 50% will be spent working on international trade shows and events, with opportunities to travel within the UK and overseas.


Main responsibilities will include

  • Work closely with games producers to understand Inspired games – this knowledge will then be needed to create comprehensive Marketing Overviews, posters and game trailers to be shared with customers
  • Own and focus on content marketing for Digital Games and developing a library of assets for customers
  • Helping to write and manage the design of marketing materials for web and print, e.g. adverts, brochures, game leaflets, e-newsletters
  • Manage the day to day running of the customer facing Marketing Asset Portal and ensure all assets are up to date
  • Supporting the marketing team in events (tradeshows, conferences, corporate hospitality) planning and delivery. This involves every stage of event planning from booking hotels to assisting with stand design and attending events
  • Assisting in managing corporate web presence
  • Administration: Working with the marketing and finance team to manage the marketing budget tracker and invoices, managing compliance documents for all games

Required Skills and Experience

  • Confidence and maturity to liaise with senior staff members and valued clients
  • Advanced communications skills- both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a good knowledge of social media
  • Ability to work in a team but also self-manage and use initiative
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Flexibility to travel to various UK offices and overseas when required
  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Photoshop and InDesign experience is desirable
  • WordPress and Mailchimp/CRM experience is desirable
  • Degree level education or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification. Qualifications below degree level will be considered if applicants can demonstrate relevant experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
