Great games are the bedrock of Inspired and our game developers are expected to be highly motivated, highly skilled and interested in improving not only their skills but the skills of those around them. Focusing not just on technical quality but on the quality of the game as a whole our developers will be involved in the lifecycle of their games from initial design all the way to distribution.

Programmers in this role will be required to create cutting edge code running on the most advanced hardware in the gaming industry. You will be constantly challenged to write efficient code that allows our games to be developed quickly with a high degree of stability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

•Working as part of a team of developers producing code and supporting materials which are both functional and operable

• Working with other departments (art, design, production, test) to deliver high quality, graphically-rich games
• Implementing solutions which conform to architectural design and market specification
• Working within agreed timeframes and logging time spent against projects
• Engaging in project planning and estimation meetings, as directed by the Team Lead
• Following the strategy and best practices of the group
• Communicating progress and issues to the team lead in a timely manner
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our core technologies
• Performing regular code reviews amongst the team, to maintain high standards
• Able to work comfortably both as part of a team, and independently
